A small memorial and marker stone set back from the road in a lay-by on the edge of the old airfield.

A well stocked shop and pub which is the perfect place for a cycle pitstop. No worries about queues, locking up bike etc.... Bench seating outside the pub with some shade from the trees. Minimal detour even if you're on the lap of the reservoir

Now a milkshake and burger cafe. Also does coffee and waffles though. There are Sheffield stands on the street out front a few yards away, which you can see from some of the tables inside.

From here you can access the cycle/walking path along the top of the dam which gives great views up the length of Grafham Water.

The cycle path along the top of the dam is wide and flat and gives great views across the reservoir. Reach it from the Visitor Centre at the northern end although access at the southern end is trickier as you have to squeeze through a narrow gap next to a locked gate by the main road.

Pub-in-a-shed. There’s a community-run village shop next to it.

The main road that runs down one side of it is pretty busy but there are a few cafes around if you want to stop.

A lot of the best graffiti has been painted over with more basic designs but there are still a few colourful pieces left.
