Interesting history at the locks/weirs but a fairly dull path. Little traffic to bother you.

Just enjoy the ride 🚵‍♂️;barely no cars, if you lucky you might see/join other cyclists on your way - I did briefly - met a couple on their way from Northampton to Wells-next-the-Sea - what a ride. 🚲🖐

The most impressive remaining piece of King’s Lynns ancient fortifications, which you still pass through when entering the town from the south.

Fine for commuters and tourers but too narrow in places to ride at any speed as well as taking you in front of blind driveway entrances as you near Histon. Also gets covered with debris scattered by cars from the adjacent road, so greater puncture risk. Road cyclists are better off sticking to the road.
