Gunwade Lake at Ferry Meadows is a fantastic spot for a flat and scenic run. If you're a runner, I highly recommend checking it out! The path is wide and well-maintained, and you'll often see lots of other runners and walkers, making it a really friendly and motivating place to be. This is a grade II listed pedestrain bridge over the River Welland, dating from 1881 and built by Stamford Town Council to replace one destroyed by flood in July 1880. It is built out of rubble stone and iron.
