The kitchen typically closes at hour before the cafe does so get here in plenty of time if you want to order food.

Very impressive Normal cathedral, constructed from imported Normandy limestone.

Super cafe!! Suitable for cyclists. The track is about 100 yards and fine to bike down. Unless you have 10k superbike

Well set up for the cycling crowds with proper saddle rail bike parking (no scratching your frame against a stand, or bending your spokes in a wheel holder). Only downside is needing to cross grass or gravel to reach the cafe. Fairly limited opening hours so best for a lunch stop.

Quite a lot of nice views in this area as the countryside tends to be high and open.

Has one of the most impressive and well maintained of Norfolk's round tower churches, on prominent view across the village bowling green.

Scenic village although surprisingly no pub, shop or cafe for refreshments.

Takes in the view of the ruins of St Martin's Church and the still working St Mary's Church just behind it.

Striking position on a prominent rise above the valley - you can see St Mary's Church in the distance on the far side.

Located behind the hedge on the broad bend by the wide field entrance.

Norwich Castle is undergoing major works to restore the floors to their original level of the 12th century so future visitors can truly appreciate what life in the castle was like when it was built. It is still possible to appreciate the royal Norman fortress from the outside.

Norwich Cathedral is over 900 years old with the second tallest spire in England, measuring in at 96m (the tallest is Salisbury). It is mostly a Norman building with some restoration work taking place in the 13th century after it was damaged during riots.
