Careful on the south side, quite boggy.

Generally harmless, but do keep dogs on leads. The park puts up signage of when to stay well clear.

Not so much a highlight - rather a warning for the very choppy stte of the road at the bottom of the hill, as you reach the bend… take care - it is decidedly unpleasant at speed and in strong half shadow!

Space for parking and a picnic table. Also toilets! Good walks along the river especially northwards towards Chester.

Service is a bit slow but they have a great selection of cakes

There are cars and people on the roads, but! beautiful to ride through :)

Delamere Forest is a large wood in the village of Delamere in Cheshire, England.

Also pass Tatton Park on the charity ride Manchester 100. It can get very busy around the park with cars looking for a parking space. They refuse to give you any room. So take extra care.

The Barnston Memorial is an obelisk in Churton Road, Farndon, Cheshire, England. It commemorates Roger Barnston, a military officer who died in 1857 from wounds sustained at the Siege of Lucknow. His memorial consists of an obelisk standing on a plinth, surrounded by four lions. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.

Nice little cafe that welcomes cyclists. Good for and drink and a lovely atmosphere.
