Steep climb, just take your time, as it has a false summit

Done during dry spell in May, go nice and early so it’s quiet and you can choose your route on the cobbles. It’s a short climb & not too steep😊

Such a challenging climb in a road bike, you soon run out of gears on a 11-32t rear cassette, but the views at the top make it worth your while & then hood onto your hats on the descent down towards Fernlee reservoir & the Goyt Valley

To reach Pym Chair it's a steep climb from either Lamaload Reservoir or Errwood Reservoir. Once at the top, you're rewarded with glorious views into the Goyt Valley and towards Cats Tor.

Kickback Coffee is an excellent coffee shop in Pott Shrigley in the Cheshire Peak District that serves lovely brews and is popular with hikers, cyclists and all kinds of outdoor adventurers. The staff are knowledgable and friendly, while they'll also take pride in showing off the huge Giesen W15 coffee roasting machine. On top of all this, the Roastery is a Trash Free Trails community hub, helping to protect the trails, the national park and all our wild places.

Awesome coffee shop and a great place to take a sneaky break before or after you attempts the Brickworks climb (I'd suggest breaking afterwards). Coffee is great as always and the staff are a blast!

we start at Kettelshulme and up past windgather rocks. Just go slow and it's about 2 miles to the top.
