The Gaaden Uphill is one of the official routes to the Anninger summit. The trail follows a wide forest road throughout and is only moderately steep, but it still feels long. It's definitely less crowded than the Anninger Uphill itself, so perhaps it's the better option.

The lookout tower offers a wonderful view of the surrounding area. The climb up to the tower is somewhat steep and challenging, making the reward of enjoying the view from the top all the more rewarding.

The Schafler wine tavern is idyllically situated on the wine trails above Gumpoldskirchen and serves as a charming landmark amidst the vines. From here, you can enjoy beautiful views over the thermal region and the Vienna Basin. Outside of serving hours – especially in winter – it remains peaceful and quiet here among the vineyards.
