The way up to the Schaunbergalm is wonderful for biking. Shady forests, stream fords and great views. You can look forward to the fast descent on the quite demanding ride up. The serpentines are really fun.

Have you ever seen free-roaming alpine pigs up close? No? Then quickly pack your backpack and make your way to the Schaunbergalm. The Alm is located at 1,519 meters above sea level and offers fantastic views of lush green alpine meadows and the surrounding mountain peaks. Enjoy the local specialties that make the mountain biker's heart beat faster. https://short.piesendorf.at/huette-schaunbergalm Monday and Tuesday are rest days.

Hikers and mountain bikers are welcome in the rustic and cozy alpine hut and can be spoiled with hearty Pinzgau specialties or an alpine snack. From here, the popular "Pinzgau Walk" hiking route can be easily reached. The view from the sun terrace of the Tauern valleys and the imposing peaks of the Hohe Tauern is particularly beautiful.

The approximately 20 km long Stubach Valley in the Hohe Tauern is one of the most beautiful high mountain regions in Austria. A well-developed panorama road leads from Uttendorf to Enzingerboden. From here the Weißseegletscherbahn takes skiers in winter and hikers in summer to several mountain lakes and a magnificent glacier basin. The Stubachtal is described as one of the most beautiful Tauern valleys. It is about 17 km long and includes 18 lakes and 25 glaciers, waterfalls, gorges and gorges

Great gravel section with a view of the Zwölferkogel and into the direction of the Weißsee glacier. Best to ride on a gravel or mountain bike. The Scheibelberg circuit, which starts in Uttendorf, passes here.
