Lovely road, steady climb, quiet.

Archetypal English village with its large village green surrounded by pretty stone houses and two pubs. The open beck runs in front of the houses in Eastgate, each with their own private bridge. The banks of the stream are planted with flowers. Great Café

What a stunning section to cycle through.

Lovely spot with a selection of hot and cold food and drinks. Delicious cake and welcomes cyclists with bike lock ups, outside seating and a warm fire on when it's cold outside. Specials each day change on the board, be sure to ask.

Part of Cranswick Garden Centre is a really nice cafe that does a good selection of coffees and cakes. They have some bike parking available (some undercover too).

Very bike friendly with bike racks out front. Indoor and outdoor seating. Tea, coffees, soup and cakes. No sandwiches. Open 11am -4pm on Saturdays (as at May 2023).

A fab cafe with fantastic food and good coffee - breakfast, brunch, lunch, and cake all to die for!
