Great pit stop, mushroom soup amazing

Warm coffee off Marriott way.

I've ridden Marriotts way many times, and it's a great route. However foolishly I didn't appreciate how muddy many parts of it get when it's been wet.

Great pub with fantastic food. Big portions

Pleasure to ride this mostly continuous path from Aylsham to Norwich (in dry conditions) through changing settings and off-road surfaces

This was a lovely off road bike ride and ideal for families. Unfortunately, ruined by out of control dogs off leads, or if on a lead it is a long lead that is barely visible so is a trip hazard. Lots of dogs jump up at you and chase after livestock. I ride responsibly with regard for other users on this shared path but I will not be riding it again any time soon. It’s a shame as I have used it for many years but I’ve had enough of the large amount of dog walkers who use this trail.

Perfect spot for an iced coffee and piece of cake. Nice shaded seating areas.

Open Wednesday to Sunday, this is a great stop for cyclists or walkers on the Marriott's Way.

Journeying between Aylsham and Norwich, Marriott's Way is a traffic free trail for hikers and cyclists. It follows the routes of two disused railway lines for 26 miles and passes through some glorious Norfolk countryside. Such as this just outside the city of Norwich.

Dog friendly and highly rated, Junction 21 Tea Room sits at the sharpest point of the Themelthorpe Curve on Marriott's Way. It is an excellent pit stop if doing the Themelthorpe loop, at around halfway.

Journeying between Aylsham and Norwich, Marriott's Way is a traffic free trail for hikers and cyclists. It follows the routes of two disused railway lines for 26 miles (42 km). The route makes an intriguing curve, known as the Themelthorpe Loop, around Reepham which can be made into a circular hike of around six miles (10 km). This was said to be the sharpest railway bend in the UK and was created to join the two railway lines. The homemade cakes are worth a visit in themselves.

Norwich Greenways are a series of traffic free routes. Perfect for families with young children. These trails follow the origonal routes of disused railway lines. Many of the old stations have been transformed into refreshment stops and bike hire centres,

Dismount and go into the Gunton recreation area for a break by the river. You can cross easily by foot if you have a towel.

Fantastic coffee, cakes and provisions. Well worth a stop off on your ride 🙌

Set back from the main road through the village in the middle of a patchwork of beautiful quiet Norfolk Lanes. Friendly community run store with excellent cake and savoury pies

A nice easy ride all the way from Norwich to Aylsham. Some really nice views along the way too.
