There's a pleasant riverside rest spot just next to the bridge on the east bank, overlooking a pool in the river between the bridge and a small weir.

Gives you a brief glimpse of the river which otherwise is obscured by the hedgerows and roadside plants.

Pleasant enough village but nothing exceptional. A convenience store and a handy deli if you're looking for a refreshment stop.

On the Lowe Caravan Park site: no signage to indicate its presence from the road so you need to know it's there. Only open 10am-2pm Thu-Sun.

Easily the best coffee for miles around, only diminished by the lack of bike parking or outdoor seating, so it's a case of prop your bike out front where you can see it while you pop in to place your order.

Elmham Mill on the banks of the River Wensum in mid Norfolk. Not open to public but very beauiful to see whilst on a walk. Great view from the bridge of the river.
