The Bure Valley Railway is a heritage railway offering a nostalgic trip by steam on Norfolk’s longest narrow gauge railway, between the historic market town of Aylsham and bustling town of Wroxham, at the heart of the Norfolk Broads. The Whistlestop Café on the station is open to visitors who aren't planning a train ride. The one-way journey to Wroxham takes about 45 minutes.

The Coffee Van is only available on Saturday and Sunday 10:00 - 15:00 for 2024

As sjoff says, covered in signs saying Private Land, You Are Trespassing etc, but it is in fact a public bridleway. There's a section where it seems like a bunch of fallen trees have been purposely put over the path which is annoying, but it's still a nice trail

Be aware you'll be warned if you just stop your bicycle on the PUBL8C ROAD to make a photo that you are on PRIVET LAND.

Perfect location up a short climb from Venta Icenorum, in a scenic spot with timber carved seats. Coffee and a piece of cake for under £5. Not there on Mon / Wed / Fri so pick your day.

Rode in early April - pretty difficult going, walked most of it, and felt like the bike came out twice the weight due to the amount of sludge it picked up. Pretty churned up by vehicles.
