Pretty beach . Next village up from Hemsby. Cliff top car park. Wooden hut cafes and gift shops.. council toilets.. access to beach is through the dunes. Cycle path runs along the side of the church...heading to the hidden Chapel.

Walcott has a lovely sand beach .Very enjoyable first thing. Lovely fish and chip shop. With gift shop which is also an off licence. Nice part of the norfolk coast.

Easy access for bikes with plenty of outdoor and undercover space. Does breakfasts, light lunches, coffee and cakes etc. Open 7 days a week until 4.30pm (3pm Sunday & Monday).

Lovely views as you cross over the bridge, and plenty of cafes and refreshment options on the north bank.

Closed Sunday to Tuesday, and only open until 3pm Saturday.

One of Norfolk's many ruined churches. Seems surprisingly common for the tower to be the only thing left.

Potter Heigham Bridge is an iconic bridge spanning the River Thurne in the village of Potter Heigham. It dates back to the 13th century and is believed to be one of the oldest surviving bridges in Norfolk. Potter Heigham Bridge is a popular spot for tourists and boaters exploring the Norfolk Broads. During the boating season, it can get quite busy with vessels navigating through the narrow arch, making it a fascinating sight for visitors.

St Edmunds Church is A medieval parish church with a 13th century chancel, a 14th century tower and nave, and some 15th century windows. The church was restored in 1853. In the mid 17th century Richard Ferrer was buried here in an ox hide and horns in order to confuse future historians! It is also open to the public most days and has won open church of the year for several years.

This is a medieval bridge which crosses the River Thurne. It is incredibly low and very difficult to navigate. Built in the late 14th century, it prevents a lot of boat traffic traffic from reaching further upriver.

Ideal cafe stop on a ride. Very nice food. My tuna baguette was delicious! A couple of outdoor tables, and room to lean two or three bikes on the side wall. Check opening times on Google Maps.

Honing Long Lane is a lovely stretch of straight road bordered by Daffodils on both sides. March / April is likely to be the best time of year to enjoy the view.

A great place to stop and enjoy the views of all the activity on the river. Plenty of options for refreshments, or a choice of benches on the village green if you have brought your own with you.

The windmill has just become a holiday rental after being fully refurbished

Built in 1790, Happisburgh Lighthouse is the oldest working lighthouse in East Anglia and the only independtly-run lighthouse in the UK. The iconic tower is painted white with three red bands and is 85 feet (26 meters) tall. The light can be seen up to 18 miles (29 km) away. Highly recommended for everything from a quick snack, to Sunday Roast and of course legendary fish and chips.

The ruin of All Saints Church, is a landmark in Panxworth. From three of the sides you might think that the remains are simply a 14th century century tower, but the eastern face has a Victorian archway set against it, giving a clue to it's former history. After being declared redundant in the 1970s, the church was demolished and the 14th century tower was left in isolation.

The beautiful Stow Mill is a 4 sailed windmill and a renowned North Norfolk landmark, standing only a few hundred metres from the cliff. Up until 2014 it was open to the public, but it has since been converted to holiday let accommodation, offering guests a very unique experience.

Ferry doesnt start until 11am and finishes around 5pm

The Galley is a superb bakery situated directly behind the green shown in the photographs of the road which runs parallel to the river. Be sure the visit when in Horning!
