デュッテンシュテット（パイネの一部）にある聖ヨハネ教会は、ブラウンシュバイク地方におけるネオゴシック様式の宗教建築の顕著な例です。現在の教会は1897年に完成しました。それは、成長するコミュニティには手狭で老朽化していた、1677年からのかなり古い村の教会に代わるものでした。
