the Deli is a great refuelling stop with really friendly staff. ( Closed Mondays and Tuesdays)

There's a pleasant riverside rest spot just next to the bridge on the east bank, overlooking a pool in the river between the bridge and a small weir.

Pleasant enough village but nothing exceptional. A convenience store and a handy deli if you're looking for a refreshment stop.

On the Lowe Caravan Park site: no signage to indicate its presence from the road so you need to know it's there. Only open 10am-2pm Thu-Sun.

Easily the best coffee for miles around, only diminished by the lack of bike parking or outdoor seating, so it's a case of prop your bike out front where you can see it while you pop in to place your order.

Elmham Mill on the banks of the River Wensum in mid Norfolk. Not open to public but very beauiful to see whilst on a walk. Great view from the bridge of the river.

Village with a lovey green with benches alongside the ponds, a village shop and pub, nice rest stop.

When I visited on a sunny April day, the river here was full of a couple of families paddleboarding and swimming, looked like a nice wild swimming spot. There's a good clearing by the bank to set up on or take a rest too.

Community run pub with shop and café. Ales from Beeston Brewery available.

As old as time, beautiful and simple. A quiet stop (with a tap at the gate) ideal for a pilgrim....

Lots of nice cake available in the farm shop, plus anything else you may need to keep you going on your journey, also hot drinks available and sometimes soups and more wholesome meals if the pizza oven is running.
