Good surface for cycling on Melbourne Canal Path

The Riverside at Exeter Bridge in Derby City Centre. It's a marvellous route, recently upgraded, that goes all the way to Elvaston and Borrowash; be careful with people + pigeons just beyond here.

Great little shop with friendly staff, nice bacon/sausage/egg cobs.

No nonsense coffee shop in the old lock keepers cottage. Plenty of tables inside and outside. Menu covers breakfast as well as lunch and tea. Lots of home made cakes.
