The Lienbach stream rises in the Postalm area and flows downhill into the Aubach, which then flows into the Lammer. Along the Postalm road, the stream accompanies the ascent to the Lienbach saddle, flowing through meadows, small forests, and rocky sections that characterize the alpine landscape. Thus, the Lienbach stream is a scenic companion for hikers and cyclists.

A very nice old hut with friendly staff. We had a good meal here and enjoyed the great view.

This is a very pleasant hike with a beautiful view of Abtenau. The incline is gentle, even manageable with a walker.

Pay attention to the opening hours

Here, the passage is blocked by a turnstile, so to speak. It's actually a small footpath for hiking. If you drive through anyway, you'll come out below the hut and have to lift your bike over a fence.
