A very nice, small, and quiet site with eight RV pitches, a camping area by the pond with a table, brand-new, clean toilets, sinks, and showers. There's also a power outlet next to the sink, perfect for a hairdryer or charger. The site opened in May, and according to the young family who runs it, we're the first tent there, thus inaugurating the camping area. If there had been a few more hooks on the walls in the restrooms, as well as a kettle and a discount for cyclists (we paid £25 for two people), like at some other sites, it would have been perfect for cyclists. It was still one of the most beautiful spots on our tandem tour through Scotland and England.

Suitable walk for all..refreshing winds on the salt marshes

The Old Chequers is a listed building and believed to be the oldest pub in Lincolnshire. Situated on the bank of the Lymn brook, it's surrounded by open countryside. In the winter there is a roaring fire and in the summer you can enjoy the large beer garden.

This Airfield Memorial commemorates RAF Spilsby. On some aerial photographs the ghost cropmarks showing the airfield’s runway layout can be seen.

Bateman's Brewery is a brilliant family-run brewery dating back to 1874. It's a well known spot in the historic town of Wainfleet and serves up some delicious beverages (alcoholic and not) as well as some fab food.

This 15 hectare saline lagoon was created to protect the abundance of fantastic birdlife that resides in this area. There is a bird hide located on the lagoon where you can try your luck spotting some of the local favourites including Black-tailed Godwit's, Brent Geese, and the Hen Harrier.
