Ebelsberger Brückeの回転式ゲートからTraun川沿いの自転車道へ下る道は、明らかに「走行」用に作られていますが、下から見ると「自転車は押して通行可」という補助標識付きの歩道としてしか表示されていません 🙁 - なので、私はペダルを使って「押して」進みました 🙄

Stadtbergの北側には、1100年頃に最初の支配者または公爵の宮殿（石造り）が建てられました。それも老朽化したため、代わりにEnnsegg城が建設されました。新しく改装された城とその城の庭園は、賞賛とリラクゼーションを誘います。1569/70年に皇帝顧問のDr. Giengerによって建てられ、17世紀にはバロック様式の増築が行われました。 Ebelsbergの戦いの後、ナポレオンはこの城に滞在しました。そこから彼は、破壊されたEnns橋の再建を観察しました。今日でも、この眺めは「ナポレオンの眺め（Napoleonblick）」と呼ばれています。

オーストリアのドナウサイクリングロードは、ヨーロッパにおけるサイクリングロードインフラの「ゴールドスタンダード」と言えます。ヨーロッパのユーロヴェロルート6の一部であるため、標識は非常に整備されていますが、一見すると様々なロゴのために少し複雑に見えるかもしれません。橋や発電所の近くには、「ドナウ渡り」という特別な標識があり、ルートがそこからより美しかったり短かったりする場合に、反対側への行き方を示してくれます。

Lake Plesching near Linz is a popular destination and offers ideal conditions for cyclists. A flat, approximately two-kilometer-long circular route runs directly along the water and is perfect for leisurely rides or family outings. The lake is located near the Danube Cycle Path and is easily accessible via lakeside paths, making it a worthwhile detour for touring cyclists. For more ambitious cyclists, a variety of mountain bike trails start nearby at Pfenningberg. With seating areas, restaurants, playgrounds, and well-maintained lawns for sunbathing, Lake Plesching is also an ideal spot for a relaxing break during a bike tour.

From the banks of the Danube, you can enjoy a view of the Abwinden-Asten power plant, one of the largest run-of-river power plants in Austria. The facility extends over 252 meters and consists of nine Kaplan bulb turbines with a total output of 168 MW. The low-rise design of the powerhouse, which blends seamlessly into the surroundings, is particularly striking. A cycling path runs directly past the power plant, offering both close-up views and photo opportunities. For nature lovers, the fish bypass, opened in 2020, is a highlight, as it allows fish safe passage upstream and supports the ecological sustainability of the power plant. The surroundings along the banks of the Danube are particularly attractive for cyclists who want to enjoy the combination of technology, landscape, and nature.
