This is a nice ascent, not great in gradient, nonetheless your legs start to tell you that you're on a climb but your eyes are saying this looks flatish. Therefore I'll call it a false flat gradient that you're need the larger cogs on your rear cassette.

Quite tricky and technical (on a gravel bike) downhill route. Takes some concentration as chalky channels can be very narrow and easy to catch a pedal. Fun though!

This stretch was exhilarating fun. I was riding it on a mid range mountain bike with front suspension, hard tail, and knobbly tyres. Not sure how I would have felt riding a gravel bike along it. It's a gulley with some big rocks in it.

Reigate Castle is a former castle in the town of Reigate in the county of Surrey, England. The castle grounds are now a public park and the castle gate is the main feature of the municipal coat of arms of Reigate and Banstead.

Built in 1898, Reigate Fort is a scheduled monument built as part of the London Defence Scheme. You can look at the exterior of the fort at any time during daylight hours, but to go inside, you must book a guided tour.
