イゼンビュッテル近郊のタンクルム湖（ギフホルン地区）は、シュテューデにあるベルンシュタイン湖の「兄貴分」のような存在です。水面積は約62ヘクタールとかなり広く、ヴォルフスブルク、ギフホルン、ブラウンシュバイクの間の地域全体で最も有名なレジャースポットの1つです。タンクルム湖は約1,000メートルの長さのきめ細かい砂浜で有名です。夏には本物の休暇気分を味わえます。
