Known simply as 'Bøen' by those who've become enamoured with the place, it's over 8 miles (14 km) from the nearest road. It lies at the meeting point of Skogadalen and the famous Utladalen, Norway's deepest valley and the home of Vettisfossen, one of its highest waterfalls.

Boat rental for fishing (trout, license can be obtained on location) and a nice place for a swim in the lake.
