That's a nice climb. 3.8 km with exactly 200 vertical meters and a 5.3% gradient says Strava :-). There are no steep ramps and fluctuates between 4 - 7%. The climb was part of the Tour du Pays de Vaud in 2018

The castle is on a hill and with its turrets and annexes it looks like something straight out of a picture book. In Lucens you will find a good selection of restaurants and supermarkets. The place can also be reached by train.
