Beautiful bathing area with rough stones, nice shady spots under the trees

Pretty pebble beach in Versoix, accessible via the bridge that crosses the river at the entrance to the town. Peaceful.

Among the charming villages worth visiting on this route, Coppet stands out for its port and its Vaudois castle. The latter can be visited from April to October.

This beach was developed in 2010 and is a large site in the commune of Versoix. In the distance, we can see the Jura chain. There is a small port nearby where you can take a ferry. For more information, visit the CGN website.

Enchanting single track trail along the Versoix. Expect to have to push the bike in places, the path is sometimes narrow or with roots.

Be careful in this area because there are tree roots directly on the path. You may have to get off the bike and push it, but not for long.

If you look in this direction, you will be looking in the direction of Annecy. With the fields in the foreground, we can see beautiful mountain ranges (Aravis and Chamonix behind). In winter they are snowy, in summer they are gray and green. The best views would be in late fall or winter.

A beautiful, quiet gravel path along the forest. It is suitable for any type of touring bike, but not for road bikes with thinner tires. Quite pleasant to ride even in rainy weather.
