ZoutleeuwのGrote Markt（中央広場）は、街の豊かな中世時代を偲ばせる美しい歴史的景観を形成しています。16世紀の市庁舎は、ゴシック様式とルネサンス様式の間の珍しい記念碑です。織物会館は、織物貿易の最盛期に建てられました。聖レオナルド教会は、印象的な芸術的遺産を持つ、優美な宝石です。豊かな装飾が施されたルネサンス様式のファサードを持つSpiegelhuis（鏡の家）も注目を集めます。居心地の良いテラスが、そのすべてを完成させています。

With its small size and rural location in the Hageland region, Zoutleeuw resembles a village, but its architectural heritage testifies to a grand past. Zoutleeuw's Grote Markt (Great Market Square) is a true gem. The Gothic town hall, built between 1530 and 1538, is clearly influenced by the burgeoning Renaissance. 7 centuries old, but still beautiful...

The building has been beautifully renovated into a residence but retains many aspects of its past as a station. The old nameplates are clearly visible. Across the cycle path that runs along the former route, there's a picnic table and an information board about the Getelinie (and "the Great War"), titled and themed "Skirmishes at the Station."

Personally, it's not my cup of tea, far too monotonous. Okay, there are no cars, thankfully. But riders let their horses relieve themselves all along the Reval. And of course, without cleaning up! A real treat... on foot or by bike.
