At the bend of the Lesse, we discover an unusual bridge guardian. A prominent snout, ocher reflections, the sculpture, an improbable assembly of metal pieces, does not fail to intrigue.

Resteigne Castle is a sturdy 18th-century castle located near the picturesque bridge over the Lesse River. It has a long and rich history, dating back to the 12th century, when it belonged to the Loraine family. It has changed hands several times over the centuries, passing to the Berlo, Mérode, Rouveroy, and Hoffschmidt families. The castle is now privately owned but can be rented for events and weddings.

The large mill house, now a luxurious hotel, was a source of income in previous centuries. The water mill ceased operations in 1914. Over the last century, the building has served to receive people. Behind the beautiful facade you can dream away in a comfortable and romantic interior. This location is a junction of walking and cycling paths.
