The St. Francis Church has not been used for religious services since March 15, 2019. The building has since been given a new socio-cultural function. The location has been thoroughly renovated into a fully-fledged cultural (theater) venue with many possibilities. Associations, companies, and individuals can rent the venue for all kinds of activities. In its current form, the church dates from 1861, but its history goes back much further. The Capuchin Fathers settled in Menen in 1603. Their monastery stood on the site of the current parking lot next to the church. The French Revolution marked the end of the monastery. The church features an 18th-century Baroque altar, originating from the St. George Monastery. The choir is decorated with frescoes, and in 1973, a crypt was discovered that served as the 18th-century burial place of 24 monks. Source: menen.be

The Schippershof is one of the oldest buildings in Menen. It dates back to the 17th century and was once, among other things, an inn for bargemen. Until the early twentieth century, the Leie River flowed through the city center and past the Schippershof. The city museum has been located here since 1999. You can visit exhibitions at the museum free of charge. Source: information board on site

As @JP already mentioned here, the brewery was a merger of two older breweries called "Den Fransche Schild" and "Het Gouden Hoofd" (The Golden Head). The corner building to the right of the brewery is a café that still bears the name "Het Gouden Hoofd" (The Golden Head). Source: geluweinbeelden.be

This memorial column commemorates the military and civilian casualties of Geluwe during both world wars. On June 1, 1925, the "Peace Statue" with the Flemish lion was officially unveiled. The cubist design is by Huib Hoste, who expresses several ideas through the chosen materials: brick represents the earth on which the boys lived, natural stone represents higher ideas, the column represents the striving upwards, the cross symbolizes suffering and triumph, on the back is the relief with the lion, the symbol of the country for which they sacrificed, and on the front, the slender woman radiates joy and peace. On January 1, 1977, a major merger took place in Belgium. Numerous municipalities were merged into larger units. Geluwe, which had previously functioned as an independent municipality, was incorporated into Wervik. With this commemorative plaque, the municipal council bid farewell to an independent Geluwe, as it says, preceded by a list of achievements in the redevelopment of the village center. The plaque is dated December 18, 1976, barely two weeks before the merger date.

Former brewery known as "Belle Vue," converted in 1976 into the "De Gaper" reception center, designed by architect W. Barthier (Ypres). Established during the 19th century as a result of the merger of two older breweries, "Den Fransche Schild" and "Het Gouden Hoofd" (The Golden Head); rebuilt after the First World War and reportedly in use until the early 1960s. Brewery complex with brick buildings enclosed around a rectangular courtyard with cobblestones, including concrete, benches, and greenery. The gatehouse comprises four bays and one and a half stories under a hipped roof (ridge parallel to the street, tiled); a low right wing of five bays under a saddleback roof (ridge parallel to the street). The neoclassical pilaster facade is similar to the adjacent block of houses numbered 6-10 on the right. The plinth is made of Arras sandstone. The round-arched gatehouse is framed with bluestone bollards. On the courtyard side, rectangular and under an iron I-beam. White-painted courtyard facades of one or two stories under gable roofs (mechanical tiles, corrugated iron), dominated to the north by the former malthouse under a tented roof with a drawbar chimney. The city of Menen is located on the border with Wallonia and on the state border with France, merged with the city of Halluin. When you cycle through the Moeskroenstraat, you don't know whether you are in Flanders or Wallonia because of the mixture of Dutch and French signs. The Leie crosses the city, which you can cross with an old steel bridge. Nearby you will also find the Old Locks of Menen.
