Bather in Broekeling is a beautiful group of statues of one lady who assumes three poses before taking a bath. The work is by Hannes Verhoeven. More information about Andreas Schotel: Andreas Schotel is mainly known for his Rotterdam and Brabant etchings, but the female nude is also a common thread through his oeuvre. Mies Gips (1898-1991), whom he married in Rotterdam on April 16, 1920, served as the model for the early etchings from the early 1920s. Immediately after the Second World War, Magdaleen Rademaker (1924-2010) became his student. She will be the model for many later etchings with nudes.
