Lake Les Doyards in Vielsalm is a popular place to spend time (especially during the summer months). The stunning lake is within walking distance of the center of Vielsalm. A walking and cycling path with a total length of approximately 2 kilometers runs around the lake. There are benches at several points so you can enjoy the beautiful view.

Easy, yes. Family-friendly, no. Strollers aren't suitable because of the often thick rocks in the forest floor and unpaved paths. No benches. Beautiful, yes, but hiking boots are necessary, and grandma has to stay home. Therefore, calling the trail family-friendly is misleading.

Take your chance and with a lot of luck and before you know it you'll have a bite. Make way because here big specimens are pulled out of the water 😜

very beautiful quiet lake

Beautiful swimming lake with lots of opportunities to relax :) When the weather was warm there was a lot going on here.

Very nice route. Luckily we had electric bicycles, otherwise it would have been impossible. I think we had about 5 kilometers of coarse gravel path, which was not very pleasant to cycle on. We also enjoyed the beautiful landscape.
