Beautiful hiking trail completed on June 21, 2025. Note a very steep, dangerous section, but only 2 or 3 meters long, just after the lookout. Be careful not to slip at this point. Another point to note, around point 10, is the presence of an insect nest, probably bees: a family passing in the opposite direction warned us because their three children had been stung several times. The nest is located at the bottom of a leaning tree at the water's edge, and we have to walk right next to it. We saw the angry insects flying and preferred to retrace our steps (400 meters) and take a path that ran slightly above the route.

The "Bird's Footbridge" in Martelange, Belgium, is a 150-meter-long pedestrian bridge that crosses the Sûre River and transports hikers into a fascinating natural world. Opened in 2011, the bridge is part of a project connecting the municipal building (Moulin Kuborn) and the former tannery park (Parc de la Tannerie). The Mardasson Memorial is a war memorial commemorating the Battle of the Bulge and is located on Mardasson Hill, northeast of the Belgian city of Bastogne, which was the center of the battle at the time. The Mardasson Memorial was created on the initiative of the Belgian-American Association, an association that wants to honor the memory of the many young Americans who died here.
