The Hubertmolen in Wenduine is a wooden corn mill similar in design to Dutch hollow post mills. It was built in 1880 by Jan Hubert, the name of a prominent miller's family on the North Sea coast. The mill remained in professional use until 1934, after which it became a tourist attraction. During World War II, the German occupying forces removed the mill's sails. After the war, it was restored and, along with the adjacent miller's cottage, designated a protected landscape in 1946. A severe spring storm in 1992 caused significant damage to the mill, prompting the municipal council of De Haan to purchase it and restore it to its original state. It was designated a protected monument in 1993.
