The centre of Guirsch was classified in 2003 as an architectural ensemble of Wallonia and Belgium (historical site). Guirsch is a very pretty village located about 5 kilometres from Arlon, towards the north-east. It stretches along a ridge from the municipal school to the castle. In the Saint-Willibrord church, parts of which date from the 17th century, there is a relief with the coat of arms of the "de Cobreville" of Guirsch with the motto "If God wills". The very large and beautiful monumental castle, built in the second half of the 18th century, overlooks a wooded park.

If you have time, it's worth making a detour to the former summer residence of Emil and Aline Mayrisch! There are some rare works of art to be found in the beautiful park.
