The route to reach the fort starting from via del Peralto (Righi) and continuing on the Sentiero delle Farfalle or on the Sentiero dell'Acquedotto is very beautiful. There are also connections with Begato and Trensasco. The 15 hairpin bends to reach the top of the hill are not all that strenuous.
