The pass connects Orco Feglino via a dirt road and from here the town of Finale Ligure on the western Ligurian Riviera to the municipality of Mallare in Val Bormida. It lies on the watershed between the Po Valley and the Ligurian Sea. North of the pass rises the Biterno stream, a tributary on the right bank of the Bormida di Mallare; in the south, instead, the two source arms of the Aquila Current, the main tributary of the Pora, arise. The pass opens between the foothills of Pian dei Corsi (to the southwest) and Monte Alto (to the northeast). Source: Wikipedia
