Sangineto is a seaside resort divided between Le Crete and the Lido. The beach of Sangineto Lido is made up of small bays of sand and gravel, with a gently sloping seabed. It is a very popular tourist destination with numerous accommodation facilities. Near the town center is the Pietrabianca beach, a beach with fine sand and pebbles. The Scalone pass is a pass at an altitude of 740 meters which divides the Lucanian and Calabrian Apennines. It is located in the Pollino National Park along the road that connects Belvedere Marittino and Sant'Agata di Esaro.

The Madonna della Neve Sanctuary is located at 757 meters and is dedicated to the Virgin of the Snow. This church today is a destination for pilgrims. From here it is possible to enjoy a panorama that includes the Gulf of Policastro, Sicily, the chain of the Apennines.
