The Canalazzo Forest Park is a large green space that extends for about 60 km, located in the territory of Monte Casasia and bordered to the north by Lake Dirillo and to the south by the Pineta di Giarratana. A tour that I highly recommend, Buccheri is one of the highest villages in Sicily and around it there is a wonderful panorama, unspoiled nature. Passing from Lentini, to get to Buccheri, we traveled along the old Provincial Road 10 for about 29 km and then we entered the Provincial Road 5, of course the old Provincial Road 10 does not have excellent asphalt but it is still passable, for the rest the road of round trip is great. In the central square of Buccheri, at a grocery store, I suggest you try the sandwich with mortadella which they say is a specialty of the town.
