In Boscofondi in the municipality of Pettorazza Grimani (RO), you can admire the “Gorgo Leze” Oasis, a small lake of recent origin, formed following the flooding of the Po River, which devastated the Polesine area on 14 November 1951. Access to the “Gorgo Leze” Oasis is subject to authorization as it is a private area.

Rovigo is a city often ignored by the tourist flow that aims towards the most famous cities in the Veneto. You can walk through the elegant center and stop in the two Roverella and Roncale buildings where original art exhibitions are held. A few steps from the main square there is the museum of the great rivers which tells the story of the development of the civilizations of this area.

The beauty of cycling on an embankment closed to traffic. The track is very long and connects Ferrara with Goro (about 90km in total). Attention only in periods of intense heat, there are NO fountains along the entire route, but you have to look for them in the places that cross each other. I recommend looking carefully at the map and identifying the refueling points before leaving, in order to avoid "running out of water" ...
