The art sculpture "Evolution" has been standing directly at the entrance to the Autobau Erlebniswelt since May. Six figures by the artist team "Giants of Steel" from Osdorf in northern Germany depict the development of humanity. Since evolution is never complete and always continues, the last figure points to the human urge to move around as comfortably as possible, sitting, motorized, and individually. The installation was created on a seesaw by Mario Botta. For years, a Sbarro LO had its place here. "The new artwork has been very well received," explains Fredy Alexander Lienhard, curator and board member of the Autobau Erlebniswelt. Cyclists in particular like to take a break here and admire the installation. No wonder, given that the sculpture is located directly on the Lake Constance cycle path.
