Clear sea, in the summer you can go there for a nice swim. I was there at the end of January returning from a circular excursion Vietri - Raito - Albori - Cetara and then stopping at the Albori marina.

The Fish Fountain is a monument attributed to Luigi Vanvitelli and located in the Sedile del Campo square in the historic center of Salerno. One of the best-known monuments in the historic center of Salerno is the fountain in Largo Campo, of which there is some fragmentary historical information. The existence of a fountain in Largo Campo does not necessarily have to be identified with the current one. The first mention of its existence, in fact, is found in a document of the Church of Sant'Andrea de Lavina of 1639. In 1692 it is remembered by Pietro del Pezzo on the route of the first procession of the silver statue of Saint Matthew. According to these sources it should be dated at least to the early seventeenth century, however the set of elements that make it up today show a greater constructive articulation.

An excellent testimony to the complex and stratified past of the city, Palazzo Fruscione tells visitors about twenty centuries of Salerno history, traces of which can be seen in the architecture and recovered frescoes visible inside. Between vicolo Adelberga and vicolo dei Barbuti, on the northern side of the Church of S. Pietro a Corte, stands the building known as "Fruscione", from the surname of the last family that lived there and from which it was expropriated to make it their property public. Built in the mid-13th century. it was first erroneously defined as a remnant of the Salerno residence of Arechi II, then "palace of the Norman princes". The building, which has various archaeological stratifications, partially rests on the remains of a complex of Roman baths, an extension of the nearby thermal complex of S. Pietro a Corte. Recent restoration works have brought to light elements of masonry, fragments of frescoes and an almost completely intact Roman mosaic, dating back to the 1st-2nd century. after Christ.

Leaning against the southern side of the quadriportico is the monumental Norman bell tower, which rises almost 52 meters in height with a base of about 10 meters on each side. From a plaque walled up on the southern front we read that the client was Guglielmo da Ravenna, archbishop of Salerno from 1137 to 1152. The epigraph is the following TEMP(O)R(E) MAGNIFICI / REG(IS) ROG(ERI) W( ULIELMUS) EP(ISCOPU)S/ A(POSTOLO) M(ATTHEO) ET PLEBI DEI. It is made up of four cubes and ends with a domed lantern. Its composition responds to a precise static requirement as the first two floors, undoubtedly heavier, are in travertine and form a solid support base. The other two floors are in brick blocks, certainly lighter. All the floors are lightened by large mullioned windows which discharge the weight laterally on the corners.
