This stretch of road offers views of the typical Monferrato landscapes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is a pleasant cycle ride.

The German-language television series "Treasures of the World - Heritage of Humanity" - which I highly recommend - is dedicated to short film clips featuring UNESCO World Heritage sites from all continents and eras.
