So you can go all the way around. Distance about 60 km mainly flat roads. Along beautiful, typical Italian towns.

Small harbor in the immediate vicinity of the promenade and numerous restaurants.

There is a small old town with alleyways. There are hardly any shops worth mentioning, but a few artists exhibit their art.

The lake is divided between the Italian and Swiss borders and takes its name from the Swiss city of the same name. It is very beautiful as are its streets. It goes without saying that during the high summer season the roads are very busy, a real pleasure when there is less traffic. High visibility always recommended!

Unfortunately, the church wasn't open when we were there around noon yesterday. But there is an information board on which you can read interesting facts about it in three languages.

Cycling on Lake Lugano is fantastically beautiful. You often ride on the road together with the cars, but there are also a few special bike paths. The views of the lake are breathtakingly beautiful everywhere.

To the north of Cannero Riviera, near the public boat dock, is the old and historic municipal port of reduced dimensions, characterized by a narrow entrance, the seabed is sandy/muddy and shallow, the spaces for maneuvering are limited and access is recommended to units of modest size; inside there is a slipway for small boats. The places are normally already occupied by local boats.
