A circular tour from Trepalle. I recommend doing it clockwise. Watch out for mountain bikes.

Lago Nero is a very beautiful alpine lake with very clear waters. The path to reach it is not very easy to cycle, but the view makes up for the effort. The pass above is very beautiful, an almost flat meadow. Be careful on the path downhill towards Trepalle, it starts off gentle, but then becomes very technical with several difficult passages. It is also possible to spot a bearded vulture.

Super nice owners. E-bike charged in the shed overnight, great. There was food in the evening and from the shared balcony of the room you have a fantastic view over the lakes.

I recommend the polenta 😁 E-bikes can be recharged for a fee of €2.50.

The Fraele dam is an artificial reservoir that can be crossed both on foot and by bike. It offers a splendid 360° view, even on Lake Cancano. A peculiarity of these basins, in addition to their size and their bright colors, are the remains of the workers' villages that emerge from the water depending on the season.

Lago delle Scale is an alpine lake that takes its name from the homonymous mountain. Located between the Cancano lakes and the Fraele towers, the Scale lake is a small basin full of fish, which is why it is a popular destination for many lovers of this sport. The lake has no outlets or tributaries, but is fed by an underground spring.
