Small village at the beginning of Valmalenco

Small village that is an excellent starting point for exploring Val Malenco. Equipped with a few small shops and free parking in the cemetery (for those arriving with the MTB loaded on the car), it is not far from Lanzada (reachable from the Rusca cycle path, from which you are spoiled for choice on the routes) or very close to the Airale valley where there is the beautiful Bosio Galli refuge.

First of the two Campo Moro dams, which contain the water coming from the Fellaria glacier and use it for hydroelectric production. The work in itself is impressive and even more so with the backdrop of the Fellaria glacier and the Bernina.

Chiesa in Valmalenco is the main tourist center of Valmalenco, whether in summer or winter. It is located in a strategic position in the center of the valley, where it separates into two, on one side towards the Val Lanterna and on the other towards the Bernina.

Nice bridge that connects the classic Sentiero Valtellina (on the left bank of the Adda between Tirano and Tresenda) with its dirt variant on the right bank. There is also a drinking fountain nearby.
