The road is not only scenic, but also steep. The uphill section is for the athletic, but the downhill section requires caution in the narrow and steep lower section, while the upper section is simply enjoyable.

On the Schaffhausen side, there are two kilometers of gravel road, but it's easy to ride on a road bike. The gravel also has a fairly flat gradient, so going downhill isn't a problem either.

10月 5, 2023, Siegelturm Diessenhofen
Today's seal tower was built in 1545 by Martin Heunsler from Stein am Rhein. It replaced an older building that served as the eastern entrance to the city. As early as the 16th century, the tower served not only as a clock tower, but also to store documents and the city seal. In 1863 the passage was increased by one meter. In 1943/44 the tower and the clockwork were extensively restored.
