Following path 10 and signs for Pian delle Noci, you reach the refuge. It's a challenging and bumpy climb. Once at the refuge, you descend towards the Gesiola spring and return to path 10 towards the Orino fortress.

Rifugio Campiglio, located on the slopes of Monte Lema, offers a spectacular panoramic view of Lake Maggiore. The facility has restaurant services, a bar and rooms for overnight stays. Alpe Pradecolo is one of the most appreciated places by those who love the mountains. Pradecolo can be reached via a road that starts from Luino and crosses Dumenza and Due Cossani. Alpe Pradecolo hosts the Dumenza refuge which boasts a splendid panoramic point over Lake Maggiore and Monte Rosa.

Great location even if the Refugio can be reached by car. The service is very friendly. The polenta brasato is delicious. There's blueberry pie for dessert.

It stands on a large clearing surrounded by larch and fir trees. Group of well-preserved cottages built with local material, porphyry. All'etersno wooden table benches and source of water. Nice oven for baking bread. However, the site is private
