There is a rope next to the waterfall for those daring enough to climb up it.

You can cycle directly to the waterfall, then there is a great hiking trail that crosses the stream.

Beautiful nature but sometimes very impassable. From 2 km before the end no more path found. Had to slide down the slope and finally twisted the foot. Hobble back and 4 hours Krabkemhaus was the result.

The area hosts the Candalla waterfall system, a naturalistic jewel of the Apuan Alps. The point corresponds to the downstream part of the water system and from here a possible longer walking route begins. The place fills up easily in the summer, especially on weekends and holidays.

Even if you don't have your swimming trunks with you, it's worth stepping into the cool water up to your knees.

6月 23, 2022, Pozza della Madonna Waterfall
Some are located just outside Seravezza (at the beginning of the ZTL) and are easy to reach, others are located at the end of more demanding paths in the woods. The most famous is the Pozza della Madonna and is the one fed by the waterfall carved into the rock. It is called Pozza della Madonna and can be reached by a path along the river that starts from Seravezza and leads to the Malbacco pools in about 20 minutes. Park the car before the start of the blocked road and the Ztl, the paths that will lead you along the river banks begin. There are five routes, to reach the waterfall and the pool of the Madonna which is located higher up, it is necessary to take the descent number 4.

Beautiful waterfall with a beautiful way to get there with a fantastic view. Smaller waterfalls all around the big one. Just a dream. Have parked in a parking lot in Pruno. The village is really nice too.

About 500m before the waterfall there is a junction up the slope that leads to a beautiful trail to the main hiking trails in the high mountains.

Candalla is a valley on the Versilia side of the Apuan Alps between Camaiore and Casoli. The valley lies at the foot of the Pana Mountain which is 1221 meters high and the Gabberi Mountain which is 1108 meters high. The rocky path of Mount Penna is 497 meters above sea level and despite its modest height is a great attraction for rock climbers. Along the Candalla Valley, you can admire the factories near Lombricese Creek. Further on, you will admire the ruins of mills, oil mills, pasta factories and powder mills from the 15th century. These ruins are important as evidence of working technology. They keep water inlets, stone mills, and various items outside the walls. Source: https://toszkan-szallas.hu/de/candalla-wasserfall/

Super hike on warm days with everything your heart desires. Culture, brook with pools, waterfalls, old villages, lonely paths. This little round is actually a "must"

The Acquapendente is the waterfall of the Apuane and deserves the little effort needed to get to its base. It is a little-known and little-frequented place in the reality of Upper Versilia that offers interesting villages and wonderful landscapes as well as all the possibilities for excursions in the Southern Apuane. To appreciate it, it must have rained in the previous days, otherwise you risk finding it dry. The term Acquapendente is widespread throughout Italy with the meaning of waterfall. Cuesta Acquapendente is a waterfall originating from the jump of a branch of the Deglio canal, a tributary of the Versilia canal in turn tributary of the Vezza river. The water of the Deglio canal comes from an underground river (called the Vidal river) that passes under the Del Freo Refuge in Mosceta and is fed by the waters that penetrate the karst complex of Monte Corchia. http://www.escursioniapuane.com/SDF/AcquaPendente.html
