Very beautiful imposing architecture

The cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta is the mother church of Lecce and the seat of the archbishop. It was built in the 12th century in Romanesque style and then rebuilt in the 17th century in Lecce Baroque style by the architect Giuseppe Zimbalo.
