The cathedral features a fascinating floor mosaic: - in the center, the Tree of Life (beginning with elephants, cats, Adam and Eve, ..., until you reach God) and in the left aisle, - the Tree of Knowledge with the decider for heaven or hell is very worth seeing.

On the road from Otranto to Santa Cesarea, this panoramic point allows you to observe the Salento coast in all its beauty. You are in one of the most touristic and wild areas of Puglia: the Santa Cesarea spa is a real must for those visiting these areas for the first time.

The climb begins in the heart of the city and climbs steeply, but never exceeding 10%. Once you leave the town, the landscape becomes very beautiful. Now that I've ridden it several times, I've noticed that there are sections with gradients exceeding 10%, especially in the second section after crossing the main road, seen from Santa Cesarea Terme.
