Among its symbols, the coat of arms with three towers and a Saracen soldier stands out. The country boasts various monuments and places of interest, including historic churches and castles.

Bisacquino is located in Sicily, near Palermo. It is famous for its history and for being the birthplace of director Frank Capra. It has a beautiful Cathedral of San Giovanni Battista.

The abbey of Santa Maria del Bosco di Calatamauro is located near Contessa Entellina, immersed in the Monte Genuardo nature reserve.
