I passed by it coming from San Cassiano to go towards Brunico, and it struck me for the joyful tranquility that can be perceived in its corners, squares, streets. Beautiful!

Beautiful lake at the pass - the meadows around it get a bit boggy after rain. When there is no wind, the reflections of the Hexenstein are beautiful.

The view from the terrace over the lake to the Hexenstein is great (especially if you've already been up there - otherwise just do it between two cakes and dinner, it's easy and worth it).
